DG8245W2-10 Port 80

Hi!


I have a running webserver in my LAN, when I setup this new router DG8245W2-10 Its occupying port 80, cant find anywhere to close the access from internet to the router? What im trying to do is when im away from home I want to be able to access my running webserver.


Hope someone understand my bad spelling/grammer

Yes from outside, I have a webserver running on my Qnap NAS, When I try to forwarding port 80 to my Qnap its just giving me an error, I need it when Im at work.

Not possible? You mean that everyone with DG8245W2-10 router cant have there own server running? If that so I need another adsl router, I thought the DG8245W2-10 was a good one with plenty of option, tuning etc

Hello, if you really need to implement this function, you can do the following:
1. If you are an enterprise user, cancel the Layer 2 isolation of the ONT on the OLT.
2. If you are a carrier user, contact your ISP to enable this function.
Note: There are security risks in the scenario you want.

Problem solved! DG8245W2-10 Port 80-3077929-1

I simply use another port for my webserver, ie I setup portforwarding 81 to my server and when I connect from outside I just using "www.mysite.com:81 so thats all good for now!
