Hi, there! I have seen many questions about 5G Wi-Fi configuration in the forum. Can I configure 5G Wi-Fi for my device DG8045? Can you tell me how to configure it? Thanks!

The DG8045 is a carrier product.

Generally 2.4GHz and 5GHz are configured on the web page

Locally Logging in to the Web Page

This topic describes the data plan and procedure for logging in to the web page.

User name and password:
Default settings:

  • User name: user

  • Password: HuaweiUser

NOTE:

  • The common user account can be used to query the service status. For DSL home gateways that support Wi-Fi and the USB storage function, the common user account can be used to configure services such as Wi-Fi and home-sharing.

  • If you do not perform any operations after logging in to the system for five minutes you will exit the system and the system automatically returns to the login interface.

  • The system will be locked if you input incorrect user name or password three consecutive times. After one minute, it will be unlocked.

  • Modify the password through the web page.

CAUTION:
Please change the initial password to ensure common user account security.
