Compared with a 100G system, a beyond 100G system uses different signal modulation formats and has different wavelength bandwidth. The wavelength plan of a beyond 100G system is also different from that of a 100G system. Therefore, a spectrum plan must be formulated based on modulation formats to be used and optical-layer boards must be planned accordingly during the network design phase.
To deploy a beyond 100G or 100G coherent transmission system, pay attention to the following:
1, Underground optical cables are recommended.
2, if aerial optical cables must be used, you must set the hold-off time of routers to a large value to prevent the frequent switchovers of routers. The recommended value is greater than or equal to 200ms. In addition, you are advised to configure SNCP to prevent service loss caused by SOP threshold crossing.
