Hello everyone,

The member port of the S switch stack was accidentally added by mistake. I want to delete it, and an error is reported.

[HEXIN-stack-port1/1]undo port interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/32 enable

Warning: Deleting member ports may cause stack split and a loss of all configurations on the interface. Continue? [Y/N]:y

Error: The interface GigabitEthernet1/0/32 is not shutdown and can not be configured. Configuring the interface will cause a loop. Please shutdown all operating interfaces in stack-port view.

Hi Planck,

Before deleting a stack member interface, run the shutdown command to disable the interface.

In versions later than V200R002, the stack member interface XGE0/0/1 is deleted from the stack interface.

<HUAWEI> system-view

[HUAWEI] interface stack-port 0/1

[HUAWEI-stack-port0/1] shutdown interface xgigabitethernet0/0/1

[HUAWEI-stack-port0/1] undo port interface xgigabitethernet0/0/1 enable

In V200R002 and earlier versions, the stack member interface XGE0/0/1 is deleted from the stack interface.

<HUAWEI> system-view

[HUAWEI] interface stack-port 0/1

[HUAWEI-stack-port0/1] undo port member-group interface xgigabitethernet 0/0/1

[HUAWEI-stack-port0/1] quit

[HUAWEI] undo stack port interface xgigabitethernet 0/0/1 enable
