Hi all,

How do I delete the icmp name configuration from the interface on the NE20E-S4?

As the following configuration, after the 'undo' command is used, the 'undo icmp name redirect receive' command is still displayed in the interface view. Does this 'undo' command make any sense?

#
interface Ethernet1/0/0
undo shutdown
icmp name redirect receive
#

After 'undo':

#
interface Ethernet1/0/0
undo shutdown
undo icmp name redirect receive
#

Hello,

This command is a three-state command and cannot be deleted using the undo command.

The three states are as follows:

1. Enable the function, that is, the icmp packets can be received.

2. Disable the function. That is, the icmp packets can't be received.

3. Whether an interface can receive the packet depends on the global configuration.

So to 'delete the command', you can run the icmp receive inherent-global command on the interface to restore the ICMP packet receiving configuration to the system configuration.
