I have a problem with DEC6108 decoder

I'm not able to access the device I tried multiple time but no luck

after reboot the decoder it's pinging but after 15 to 20 ping it's again stopped.

Any Guide Or help will be highly apricated.

Firstly, I suggest you check the compatibility view.

The following picture is the method to open the compatibility view.

Or you can try to use a network cable to connect the COM port of the device to the PC. Please check the picture below:

If the problem persists, reinstall the DEC6108 (when there is no service) or upgrade the DEC6108.

But the DEC6108 is out of service, so you'll need to check with your local dealer if you can still upgrade/install.

Thanks for you support, the actually issue is how i can access the device and reach to web

It's not pinging at all. It's only give 15 to 20 ping after reboot then again stopped, every time same behavior
even i tried to access through URL https://192.168.2.101:8443 ,,,, but the actual issue is first device should give us continuous ping in Oder to access through web right ?

also can you please guide me how i can access through COM and on which port ?
and through COM can we fi

Hello, dear!
Sorry, I need to clear that you can use PC to connect to DEC6108 through COM port, shown in the above picture, tag numbered 2, and then access https://192.168.2.101:8443
Remote access requires that your PC and DEC6108 can be pinged. Currently, you cannot ping the DEC6108. Use the preceding method to access the DEC6108.

can you please explain in details Or steps how to access through COM and on which COM port
and using which tool etc...

as you told me to access https://192.168.2.101:8443 .... my questions is how my communication will establish with DEC6108
should I assign same rage IP to my PC and it will communicatee On COM ? as I know for COM we need some tool to access command line.

Can you please share steps or screenshots

As I tried, to connect my PC directly with decoder DEC6108 on port (GE) which is port 2 as shown in the above figure.

and reboot the device after came back it's giving some ping but after 15 to 20 ping it's again stopped as i mentioned before

I tried to access through web but no luck. also I check the compatibility view.

any help from any one ??

Can you show your ping result?

When you log in to the DEC6108, please ensure that your PC and DEC6108 can ping each other.

It is recommended that you set the PC and DEC6108 on the same network segment.
