Hello All, 

I have S7706 

What is the best confiuration to preven the DDoS Attack in Huawei Switches or routers ? 

I have notes that Juniper has this function and working great. Is Huawei has same?

Hi Ferasnl,
The S7706 does not have an independent anti-DDoS configuration, but the S7700 supports the IPS Module. The IPS Module is a card-based intrusion prevention product. After the IPS Module is deployed on a switch, the IPS Module can quickly and flexibly integrate security functions, such as intrusion prevention, antivirus, and DDoS attack defense, for the IP network.
The IPS module consists of the ET1D2IPS0S00 (intrusion prevention and intrusion detection service processing board).

I have questions

1- is IPS Tracing Control Plane or also the clients that connected with switch ?
2- can IPS control from inbound and outbound traffic?
