DCB configuration considerations
This section describes the precautions for deploying DCB.
Network element
Other network elements are required to support the DCB function.
License support
DCB is a basic feature of the switch. You can apply this function without obtaining a license.

Feature dependencies and restrictions
When you configure the priority mapping and the PFC function, you must carefully change the priority mappings of the priorities in the DiffServ domain. Otherwise, the PFC function may be disabled.
A stack with a ring topology is not supported by the PFC function.
When the forwarding mode of the CE8860EI, CE8850EI, CE7855EI, CE7850EI, CE6865EI, CE6860EI, CE6851HI, CE6850U-HI, CE6850HI, CE6856HI, and CE6855HI is configured in the Cut Through mode, the device does not support the PFC function. You are advised to change the forwarding packet mode to store-and-forward mode by using the assign forward mode store-and-forward command.
In V100R005C00 and later versions, except for CE6870EI and CE6875EI devices, when the number of PG groups is greater than 3, multiple PG groups share system resources. When one of the PG groups has a balance bandwidth, the scheduling of the balance bandwidth may be inaccurate. Happening.
In V200R002C50 and later versions, if there are multiple queues in the priority group for the CE6870EI and CE6875EI devices, the scheduling of the queues in the group exceeds the bandwidth. The traffic in the queue is partially over-bandwidth and the total traffic exceeds the port bandwidth. Time scheduling will be inaccurate.
In V100R005C00 and later versions, when the number of PG groups is greater than 3, only one PG group can contain more than one queue.
The CE6810LI does not support the ETS function.
The CE8860EI, CE8850EI, CE6860EI, and CE6810LI do not support the ETS function. However, you need to configure the ETS parameters to be consistent with the peer to ensure successful DCBX negotiation.
After the DCB negotiation succeeds, the FCoE service can go online normally.
The PFC function does not support backpressure of traffic passing through the loopback. The loopback port includes:
Trill gateway loopback
VXLAN service loopback
