this time I will share with you about one case which is DC908 NE created failed on NCE.
Problem Description
1. The IP address of the Network element is pingable through customer DCN.
2. The WEBUI open successfully and operate normally.
3. The network element can't be auto-searched.
4. The network element manually create failed.
5. Same site another DC908 which is also connected to the same switch everything working fine.
Handling Process
1. Make ping test again and login web UI to confirm the IP address.
2. Try login navigator by default setting but failed.
3. Request the customer to confirm the DCN and firewall setting above the IP address must same as other network elements.
4. Onsite switch the LAN cable and try login through navigator and create new NE on NCE but failed.
5. Setting the IP address of the laptop with the same segment of the network element and try login through the Navigator.
6. Change the login port from 5432(SSL) to 1400(common) success.
7. Run command to check the port setting:cm-get-conmode
8:Run command ":cm-set-conmode:all" to enable SSL port.
Root cause
The SSL port(5432) was disabled.
Solution
Enable SSL port.
