Hello dear Community friends!
Today I would like to share with you the inverter alarm DC arc troubleshooting method.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
A SUN2000-60KTL-M0 is faulty and cannot be connected to the grid. The SUN2000-60KTL-M0 connects to the hosting cloud and reports DC arc alarms.

ISSUE ANALYSIS
Due to construction and experience problems, the connection between PV modules and the connection between PV DC cables and inverters may have issues such as virtual connection, poor contact, broken skin, electric leakage and arcing. The AFCI setting of the inverter may also be incorrect.
HANDLING PROCEDURE
To rectify the grounding fault of the inverter, perform the following steps:
turn off the DC switch of the inverter and the AC switch of the grid-tied box;
check the DC-side cables of the system for local arcing, fire and virtual connection;
rectify the detected problems, restart the inverter and ensure that the construction is correct;
after confirming that the cable connection is correct, use the FusionSolar app to access the Device Commissioning page, choose Settings > Feature Parameter and set AFCI as Disabled.

CONCLUSION
When a SUN2000 generates an alarm indicating that the DC arc is abnormal, check whether the DC circuit is arced or in poor contact, or modify the SUN2000 settings to disable the AFCI function.
That's all I wanted to share and if you have any questions, please leave your feedback in the comment section below!
