Hi, everyone! Today I'm going to introduce you a case about data collection exception alarm with error code 404 when OperationCenter interconnects with FusionManager.

Problem Description:

A data collection exception alarm is generated when OperationCenter collects all alarm data from FusionManager. Error code 404 is displayed when curl commands are executed to invoke FusionManager interfaces.

Problem Analysis:

Possible cause:

FusionManager works in all-in-one mode. However, only local FM is supported for interconnecting with OperationCenter.

Step 1 Log in to the OperationCenter web client, choose System > Connection Management > Connect to Peer System, and check whether the interconnection status between OperationCenter and FusionManager is normal.

Log in to the FusionManager web client, and check whether the account for interconnecting OperationCenter and FusionManager is added to the FusionManager user management, is a local account, or has the administrator rights.

Step 2 If the interconnection status is normal, the interconnection account is added to FusionManager user management, a local account, and has the administrator rights, log in to the OperationCenter server, switch to user root, and run curl commands to invoke the FusionManager interface.

Run the following curl command to invoke the FusionManager interface to obtain the token:

curl -i -k -H 'Content-Type:application/json;charset=UTF-8' -H 'X-Auth-User:fm2oc' -H 'accept:application/json;charset=UTF-8' -d '{"userName":"fm2oc","password":"Huawei@123"}'-X POST https://10.20.68.168:643/goku/rest/v1.5/tokens

fm2oc is the username and Huawei@123 is the password for interconnecting FusionManager.

You can obtain the token ID and user ID in the command output.

Step 3 Run the following command:

curl -i -k -H 'X-AUTH-USER-ID:${userId}' -H 'X-HW-Cloud-Auth-Token:${tokenId}' -H 'User-Agent:HttpClient' -H 'Content-Type:application/json;charset=UTF-8'  -H 'accept:application/json;charset=UTF-8' -d '{"language":"zh_CN", "limit":"100", "start":"0", "inquiryCond":{"alarmtype":"1"}}'-X POST https://172.18.4.163:643/goku/rest/v1.5/fault/1/alarms

Replace the user ID and token ID in this command with those obtained in Step 2, and run this command. The command output is as follows.

The highlighted part "404 Not Found" indicates that the interface cannot be found.

Step 4 Check FusionManager installation mode on the FusionManager login page.
