CX600 Slot does not support L3VPN

Hi

We have deployed multiple Huawei CX600-x-16 Metro Ethernet routers in our network. As recently we are going to commissioning VPN services, but the following error observed, please guide, what is actual issue?is there need to Patch upgradation.



ip binding vpn-instance vpn-ngn-services

Warning: Slot X does not support L3VPN. Please run the service-enhance slot slot-id command first.

Hi!


By default, type-B boards cannot support L3VPN or MVPN services if the GTL license file is not loaded.


To configure L3VPN or MVPN services on a type-B board, you must buy a valid GTL license file and run the service-enhance slot command to load the license file to the interface board.
