Dear friend!
After the NMS is upgraded from R19 to R20, the NMS will check whether the following parameters are met for OCh trails:
1. Check whether the information about the boards and ports that the OCh trail traverses is consistent.
2. Check whether the wavelength information of the OCh trail can traverse the optical cross-connections at the site.
When the found trails meet the preceding two conditions, the trails can be formed normally. Otherwise, the trails cannot be formed.
In R19, the spectrum bandwidth of ports on M40 and D40 boards is marked as 50 GHz by default. However, the spectrum bandwidth of ports on M40 and D40 boards is marked as 100 GHz by default. In R19 and earlier versions, the trail verification function does not take effect. Therefore, trails can be created normally. In R20 and later versions, the path verification function takes effect, but the port attributes are obtained from the backup data of an earlier version. As a result, the data path verification fails. Therefore, you need to manually change the spectrum bandwidth of the ports on the M40 and D40 boards on the NMS.
Other solutions:
Upload the wavelength information of the port from the NE to the database again (which takes a long time). In the WDM Trail Maintenance Management window, select the Synchronize NE Data check box and synchronize NE port attributes from the NE side. (This method is recommended because only WDM port attributes are queried, which takes a short time.)

2. Then, search for trails and select Query board attributes from NE before searching. (Query the NEs that the search traverses.)

Thank you!
