Cross-Platform integration and compatibility issues

I have some concerns based on the new Huawei IVS cameras that have been released in my region. I have alwyas used the Huawei models from X-Series, M-Series and C-Series together in my solutions as it worke great for various application scenarios under one platform. I used to use the VCN5xx models in my designs but now I obviosly moved to the IVS1800 series.
My question here is will the D-Series models also work with the IVS1800 or only the NVR800 series? Will it also be possibly to connect existing C, M and X Series cameras with the NVR800 and is the NVR800 also able to integrate 3rd party cameras from other OEM brands?
According to what I have read it cannot support but looking at the protocols on the device on https://holosens.e.huawei.com/product_center.html?lang=en it seems to have the support?
