This post highlights the procedure of creating the linkage between two alarms. Please read further down for instructions.
1. Log in to the C/S client as the admin user and double-click Alarms.
2. Click the Alarm Linkage tab.
3. Add an alarm linkage policy.
4. Select a protection zone, a camera, or an alarm source.
5. Click New Alarm Linkage Policy. Set the triggering condition and click Next.
6. Set alarm linkage actions.
7. Click 
and select Server Video Recording.
8. Select the cameras to link in the Camera List panel on the right side, enter a value in the Recording duration text box, and click Save.
9. Use the same method to add the alarm linkage action of the Snapshots.
10. Add the linkage action of the live video display in the same way. Select the camera for which the action is configured and select a user who needs to receive alarms.
11. Click Save.
12. The alarm linkage policy is configured.
