An account can be used to create local conferences only when at least two same lines are configured for the account.
Creating a Local Conference by Joining a Conference
- During a call between uses A and B, the initiator (user A or B) presses the conference button or Conf soft key. The other party is held, and the initiator hears the dial tone.
- The initiator performs one of the following operations: dial user C's number; press the Contact soft key and select contact C on the contact page; press the History key and select contact C on the call history page.
- The initiator presses the Call soft key.
- When user C picks up the phone, user C can talk with the initiator only. The initiator presses the Join soft key to create a local conference.
Creating a Local Conference By Merging Calls
- User A is in a call with user B, and user C is held in a call with user A.
- User A presses the Merge soft key to create a local conference.
