Hi all,

Is it possible to capture the blocked traffic of an attack by the cpu-defend / blacklist mechanism on our NE40?

I am interested in whether traffic forwarded to the CPU and directly forwarded by the interface can be captured separately. So I can analyze the traffic during the attack.

Hello,

The 'capture-packet local-host' command is to capture the packets successfully sent to the CPU of the router.

The 'capture-packet forwarding' command is to capture the packets forwarded by the router.

And unfortunately, the packets to be sent to the CPU and if they are discarded due to threshold setting, then the discarded packets can't be captured anymore. We only have the below statistics to see how many packets discarded:

Command: 'display cpu-defend all statistics'

https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100109721&id=EN-US_CLIREF_0172383611&lang=en

Under the diagnosis view, there is another command 'display cpu-defend statistics all'.
