HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello, all!

This post enquires about CPU load. Please have a look below for more details.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I have recently installed a VCN 540-64 with 5 2MP cameras. I installed the IVS client on a Dell PC with i7 processor 7th generation and 8 GB of RAM.

The problem is when I choose live view to watch the cameras, my CPU Load is about 60% - 65%. On the same PC, I had installed previously another client software with 24 2MP cameras and the CPU load was 25%. I’m wondering if there is something that I did wrong during the installation and what I should do to reduce that insanely high CPU load.

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Hi,there

You can choose to modify the encoding format to H.264, reduce the bit rate, reduce the resolution, reduce the Frame rate to reduce the CPU utilization

First of all thank you for your answer.
Well this is the next step to reduce these attributes. So the cpu load suppose to be that high (60%) with 5 cameras?
