Method used to configure a proper sector size for disk partition in Windows
You can configure a proper sector size for disk partition in Windows as follows: During disk partitioning, configure the sector size based on the logical disk size, to prevent disks' read and write performance deterioration due to long time of formatting disks. The sector size is defined as the cluster size. Choose Computer > Manager > Disk Management > Format and go to the cluster configuration page. When various file systems are created on a variety of disks, the cluster sizes of disks are also different.

Installing the OS on a server with one hard disk
If the server is configured with an LSI1064/1068/2308/3008 RAID card, at least two hard disks are required for configuring RAID. If there is only one hard disk, you can install the OS on the hard disk without configuring RAID. If the server is configured with an LSI1078/2208/3108 or SoftRAID, the single disk must be configured with RAID0 before you install the OS.
