Conclusion: No value is assigned to the name attribute when an EIP is created on the FusionSphere OpenStack server.

【Troubleshooting Procedure?
Step 1 Use PuTTY to log in to the FusionSphere OpenStack server, switch to user root, and import environment variables.

Step 2 Run the neutron port-list | grep {EIP} command to check whether the name attribute is set based on the created EIP, as shown in the red box in the following figure.

Step 3 If the name attribute is not set in the lab environment, set the name attribute in the port table of the FusionSphere OpenStack Neutron database.
update ports set name='SC_EIP_VPCID' where ID=portID;

Can Multiple EIPs Be Bound to an ECS?

Yes. However, this configuration is not recommended. To configure multiple EIPs, you must manually configure routing policies.

What Are EIPs?

EIPs are static IP addresses designed for dynamic cloud computing. An EIP is associated with your account. With an EIP, you can mask the failure of an ECS or software by rapidly remapping the address to another ECS in your account. Before you release the EIP, it is permanently associated with your account.
