You can manually perform an active/standby switchover as follows:
Step 1 Use PuTTY to log in to the ServiceCenter active node as user galaxmanager.
Default password of user galaxmanager: Huawei@CLOUD8

Step 2 Run the following command to enter the engineering mode:
gotoEngineerMode
Default password: Huawei@CLOUD8!
Run the following command to disable logout on timeout:
TMOUT=0

Step 3 Run the following command to check the current active and standby nodes:
QueryHaState
Check the active node (in the Active state) and the standby node (in the Standby state) before the switchover.

Step 4 Run the following command to switch over the active and standby nodes:
Switchover
The following information is displayed:
Switchover can cause service interruption and maybe happen to lose data, confirm to execute switchover? (Y/N)

Step 5 Enter Y.
check db rebuild...OK
execute switchover successful
If the preceding information is displayed, the switchover command is successfully issued. Wait for one to two minutes until the switchover is complete.

Step 6 Run the following command to check whether the switchover is successful:
QueryHaState
Check that the original active node is in the Standby state and the original standby node is in the Active state.

Testing the active/standby firewall switchover
The priority of the VGMP group on the USG cannot be manually changed. To implement active/backup switchover, disable the interface with the VRRP group configured and lower the priority of the VGMP group on the active firewall. If services are available on the live network and the service interface cannot be disabled, run the hrp track master command on the interface in Down state and lower the priority of the VGMP group on the active firewall to trigger active/backup switchover.
