? To add storage servers, go to Step 4.
? To add disks, go to Step 10.
4. Select Add Storage Server.
5. Click Add Server.
A dialog box is displayed.
6. In Main Storage Type and Cache Type areas, configure main storage and cache information for the server to be added.
The main storage and cache types of the server must be the same as those of the storage pool. In this step, you are required to configure the slot numbers for main storage and cache resources.
You can select main storage and cache resources in either of the following methods:
? Batch selection: Enter the slot numbers or quantity. After the server is added, it automatically uses disks in the specified slots as the main storage or caches.
? Manual selection: After adding the server, manually select main storage and cache resources on the server.
7. In the server list, select the servers to be added to the storage pool.
8. Click Yes.
The Capacity Expansion page is displayed.
9. Perform Step 13.

Methods used to expand the storage capacity of a VM
You can expand a VM's storage capacity as follows: 1. If the storage resources of the FusionCloud desktop system are insufficient, you can add new storage devices and migrate some VM disks to them. For details, refer to the product documentation. Alternatively, you can delete VMs that are not in use to release their storage space. 2. If a single VM's storage space is insufficient, you can add a new hard disk to it.

How can I expand the capacity of a ViewPoint 8650 MCU?
1. Capacity expansion involves participant capacity, conference IP resources, continuous presence resources, and adaptation resources for software and hardware. You must expand capacities for the software and hardware at the same time; otherwise, the MCU will generate an alarm. Hardware capacity expansion is to add GPUA service boards or HDPX high-density daughter boards, and software capacity expansion mainly involves license capacity expansion. 2. To expand capacity, contact technical support engineers of local Huawei offices to have them calculate hardware resources required for corresponding license resources using the quotation template. Then add required hardware resources. You also need to sign a capacity expansion contract with the local office or an agent before capacity expansion.
