Method used to configure a proper sector size for disk partition in Windows
You can configure a proper sector size for disk partition in Windows as follows: During disk partitioning, configure the sector size based on the logical disk size, to prevent disks' read and write performance deterioration due to long time of formatting disks. The sector size is defined as the cluster size. Choose Computer > Manager > Disk Management > Format and go to the cluster configuration page.
