The overall FusionInsight network system is divided into two planes: the service plane and management plane. The two planes are physically isolated to ensure network security.
1. The service plane is accessed over the service network and is used to provide service channels for users and deliver data storage, service submitting, and computing functions.
2. The management plane is accessed over the O&M network and is used to provide system management and maintenance functions, cluster monitoring, configuration, auditing, as well as user management services.

The active and standby management nodes also support the configuration of external management network IP addresses so that users can manage the cluster through external management networks.
