What kind of servers does FusionInsight need?

The FusionInsight system has three types of nodes: management, control, and data nodes.A management node is a node where FusionInsight Manager is installed. FusionInsight Manager is the management system of a FusionInsight HD cluster and provides a unified access portal to centrally manage nodes and services. A control node controls and monitors how data nodes store and receive data, and send process status, and provides other public functions. A data node executes instructions sent by management nodes, reports task status, stores data, and provides other public functions.

FusionInsight HD: HDFS, HBase, Yarn, MapReduce, Spark, ZooKeeper, Hive, FTP-Server, Loader, Hue, Flume, Oozie, Solr Impala, Kafka, and DBService FusionInsight Stream: Redis, Kafka, Streaming, ZooKeeper, and DBService FusionInsight Farmer: ALB, Containers, DBService, MQ, Redis, and ZooKeeper FusionInsight Miner: FusionInsight HD plus the Miner service FusionInsight MPPDB: Massively parallel processing (MPP)

The FusionInsight solution consists of five sub-products, FusionInsight HD, FusionInsight Stream, FusionInsight MPPDB, FusionInsight Miner, and FusionInsight Farmer. It also has one operation management system, namely, FusionInsight Manager.

FusionInsight can be deployed on general-purpose x86 servers. The platform is compatible with all brands of servers. Additionally, FusionInsight supports heterogeneous servers.
