What is the relationship between cloud audit and other cloud services

5

The associated service collects the operations, such as adding, modifying, and deleting, performed by users on cloud resources and reports them to CTS in a special structure and format. If you have enabled Object Storage Service (OBS), the information reported to CTS will be transferred to OBS buckets.

For example, if you create an image in the IMS service, the IMS service will report the image creation (a trace) to CTS which will then deliver the trace to the OBS bucket for storage if the OBS service is enabled. You can view a trace file on the trace list by CTS.

What Is the Relationship Between the AZ Type and Cloud Host Type
【Product? ManageOne ServiceCenter 【Version? 3.X 【Question? What is the relationship between the AZ type and cloud host type? 【Answer? If the AZ type of the cloud resource pool is VMware, only common cloud hosts can be applied for on ServiceCenter. If the AZ type of the cloud resource pool is FusionCompute, only Huawei cloud hosts can be applied for on ServiceCenter. If the AZ type of the cloud resource pool is KVM, both Huawei cloud hosts or common cloud hosts can be applied for on ServiceCenter. ----End

What scenarios does CTS apply to
CTS provides records of operations on cloud service resources. A record contains the ID of the user who performs an operation, IP address, operation content, and returned response message. The operation records enable the auditing function and allow you to plan and use existing resources better, and identify operations that violate regulations or bring high risks. Three common scenarios include: Auditing security Query records matching a specified characteristic and perform security analysis on the records to check whether the operations are performed by authorized users. Locating faults If a specified resource or action encounters an exception, you can query operation records for the resource in the specified time period and view the request and response, which may support fault locating analysis. Tracking resources You can view the records of operations performed on a cloud resource throughout its life cycle and check their details.

What is Cloud-Trace
Cloud Trace Service (CTS) provides records of operations on cloud service resources. With CTS, you can query, audit, and backtrack operations. CTS provides four types of operation records: Operations performed on the ServiceCenter tenant portal. Operations for applying for or deleting cloud resources, for example, applying for or deleting an ECS, or creating or modifying an image. Operations performed by supporting APIs, for example, creating, modifying, querying or deleting a tracker, or querying the trace list. Operations triggered by cloud services, for example, an EIP is assigned to the Elastic Computing Service (ECS) when it is being created. On the ServiceCenter tenant portal, you can query operation records for the last seven days. To track operations over a longer period, you can enable the Object Storage Service (OBS) and deliver operation records to OBS buckets for storage in real time.

What Are the Restrictions on Unbinding a Cloud Hard Disk from a Cloud Host on ServiceCenter
【Product? ManageOne ServiceCenter 【Version? 3.0.7 【Question? What are the restrictions on unbinding a cloud hard disk from a cloud host on ServiceCenter? 【Answer? Check whether any VM snapshot or disk snapshot has been created for the cloud host. If a snapshot has been created for the cloud host, the cloud hard disk cannot be unbound from the cloud host. Delete thee cloud host snapshot and unbind the cloud hard disk from the cloud host. ----End
