Does Enabling CTS Affect the Performance of Other Cloud Resources?

Enabling CTS will not affect the performance of other cloud resources.

What is the relationship between cloud audit and other cloud services
The associated service collects the operations, such as adding, modifying, and deleting, performed by users on cloud resources and reports them to CTS in a special structure and format. If you have enabled Object Storage Service (OBS), the information reported to CTS will be transferred to OBS buckets. For example, if you create an image in the IMS service, the IMS service will report the image creation (a trace) to CTS which will then deliver the trace to the OBS bucket for storage if the OBS service is enabled. You can view a trace file on the trace list by CTS.

How Will CTS Be Affected If My Account Balance Is Owed?

If your account balance is owed, CTS can still receive operation records of supported services, but can only retain records of the last seven days. This is because older records will be stored in the OBS bucket in the form of trace files in real time, which generates traffic for which you need to pay.

In addition, your tracker status will become Balance owed. You can still configure or delete the tracker, but cannot select a new OBS bucket when configuring the tracker.

Impact of LUN formatting on performance
If you perform read and write operations on the LUN that is being formatted, the read and write performance deteriorates.

What scenarios does CTS apply to
CTS provides records of operations on cloud service resources. A record contains the ID of the user who performs an operation, IP address, operation content, and returned response message. The operation records enable the auditing function and allow you to plan and use existing resources better, and identify operations that violate regulations or bring high risks. Three common scenarios include: Auditing security Query records matching a specified characteristic and perform security analysis on the records to check whether the operations are performed by authorized users. Locating faults If a specified resource or action encounters an exception, you can query operation records for the resource in the specified time period and view the request and response, which may support fault locating analysis. Tracking resources You can view the records of operations performed on a cloud resource throughout its life cycle and check their details.

Does ARP attack in one VLAN affect other VLANs on S series switch
On an S series switch, except S1700, when a VLAN suffers an ARP attack, such as ARP flood or ARP spoofing attack, the gateway cannot correctly learn ARP entries, causing a forwarding error. Packet forwarding in other VALNs is also affected. For example, when an ARP flood attack occurs in VLAN 10 (the gateway receives many ARP packets causing a high CPU usage), user services in other VLANs are affected.
