Radio power configuration

26

Manually adjust the radio power of ACs and Fat APs.
[HUAWEI] wlan
[HUAWEI-wlan-view] ap 0 radio 0 or radio-profile name r1
[HUAWEI-wlan-radio-0/0] power-mode fixed
[HUAWEI-wlan-radio-0/0] power-level xx

Configuration on the web platform: Choose Configuration > WLAN Configuration/AP Management > Radio Profile, and change Power mode to fixed.
- On the WLAN Configuration page, select 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz in the radio configuration area. Select the radio profile, channel bandwidth, channel, and power level in fixed mode. (To modify information, delete the existing configurations first. Then add a new radio profile and configure the parameters as required.)
Restore the default power by running the undo power-level command. The default power level is 0, that is, the maximum value. The value of the power level indicates the xx dBm that the transmit power decreases.
To check the supported power level, run the display power-level ap-id 0 radio-id 0 command or run the display power-level interface wlan-radio0/0/0 command.
This function cannot be deployed in batches, so the power level can only be adjusted one by one.
The maximum power ranges from 20 to 30.

If you configure the 5 GHz frequency band without changing the radio type, the system will report an error. Ensure that the wireless network does not invoke this profile when deleting the radio profile. Note: - For V200R003, radio-type needs to be set to 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz) or 802.11a/n (5 GHz). - For V200R005 and later versions, radio-type does not need to be manually configured and cannot be specified. - In most cases, WMM profiles do not need to be modified. - In the radio profile, the working mode can be set to normal, monitor, and hybrid. In monitor mode, users cannot access the radio. Changing the working mode may cause temporary service interruption.
