Huawei outdoor AP antenna ports have the 5 kA surge protection capability. In most cases, no feeder surge protectors are required. Antenna cables are directly connected to APs' antenna ports. To meet higher surge protection requirements, purchase surge protectors separately. Surge protectors must be grounded using dedicated cables.
