The OSN 8800 can map client-side services into ODUk signals in two modes: standard and timeslot.
In standard mode, the OSN 8800 directly maps client-side services into ODUk signals to achieve flexible service scheduling.
In timeslot mode, the OSN 8800 converges multiple services whose rates are lower than 1.25 Gbit/s into one ODU0 or converges services whose rates are lower than 2.5 Gbit/s into one ODU1. In this way, multiple services share the same ODU0 or ODU1 bandwidth.
