Service rate limit for GE services on the TOM board

0

The TOM board does not support port bandwidth limit. All OTN boards do not support this function. The function is supported only by the service boards that support the L2 processing capability, such as TEM28 and LEM24.

Method used to determine whether the TOM board port that receives GE services is normal
You can query the RMON performance data of the port that receives GE services. If the sent and received data packets are normal, the port is normal.

Whether TOM boards can transmit 2.5G services
TOM boards can transmit 2.5G services but one TOM board can transmit a maximum of four channels of 2.5G services.

Lowest and highest rates of services that can be received at the client side of a TOM board
The client side of the TOM board supports the following services and rates: FE: Ethernet service at a rate of 125 Mbit/s GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 1.25 Gbit/s, supporting GE optical signals and electrical signals OTU1: OTN service at a rate of 2.67 Gbit/s STM-1/OC-3: SDH/SONET service at a rate of 155.52 Mbit/s STM-4/OC-12: SDH/SONET service at a rate of 622.08 Mbit/s STM-16/OC-48: SDH/SONET service at a rate of 2.5 Gbit/s FC100: SAN service at a rate of 1.06 Gbit/s FC200: SAN service at a rate of 2.12 Gbit/s FICON: SAN service at a rate of 1.06 Gbit/s FICON Express: SAN service at a rate of 2.12 Gbit/s HD-SDI: high-definition digital TV service at a rate of 1.49 Gbit/s DVB-ASI: digital TV service at a rate of 270 Mbit/s SDI: digital TV service at a rate of 270 Mbit/s ESCON: SAN service at a rate of 200 Mbit/s FDDI: SAN service at a rate of 125 Mbit/s

Whether services on the TOM board and TOA board can be interconnected
Yes, they can be interconnected on the OSN 8800 when the two boards have the same service type and mapping mode settings.

Whether the TOM board supports 10G services
The TOM board can receive services at the maximum rate of OTU1. It cannot receive services at the 10G rate.
