Meanings of uncapped jumpers on the AUX board in different versions

7

There are two situations:
Situation 1: PCB logic version 100 for R400C004 and earlier versions:
VER.B has only the J2, J3, and J4 jumpers. Bit 1 indicates that a jumper is uncapped.
VER.D has the J2, J3, J4, J15, J16, and J17 jumpers, among which only J2, J3, and J4 are valid. The jumpers from top to bottom are J4 > J3 > J2. Bit 1 indicates that a jumper is uncapped.
PCB logic version 130 or later versions for R5 and later versions
VER.B has only the J2, J3, and J4 jumpers. Bit 0 indicates that a jumper is uncapped.
VER.D has the J2, J3, J4, J15, J16, and J17 jumpers, all of which are valid. The jumpers from top to bottom are J17 > J16 > J15 > J4 > J3 > J2. Bit 0 indicates that a jumper is uncapped.

Other related questions:
Default settings of the fiber jumpers on the AUX board
The default fiber jumper setting of the AUX board is the setting before board delivery. That is, each fiber jumper of the AUX board is capped. You need to set the fiber jumpers based on the actual situations. For details, see descriptions of AUX fiber jumpers in product manuals.

DIP switches and fiber jumpers on the AUX board
For details on the DIP switches and fiber jumpers, see descriptions of AUX DIP switches and fiber jumpers in product manuals.

Functions of the jumpers and DIP switches on an AUX board
They are used to set subrack IDs.

Cause why no jumper or DIP switch can be found on the AUX board of the OSN 8800
No jumper or DIP switch is available on the TN51AUX board on the OSN 8800. If master and slave subracks need to be configured, you can configure subrack IDs using EFI1 boards.

Methods for setting battery jumpers on system control boards of SSE2SCC boards
Locate the battery jumper J1 on the E2SCC board. The pins of J1 are numbered 1, 2, and 3 from bottom to top. When the battery power supply is required (the board is in dry run mode or normal running mode), pins 1 and 2 need to be capped. When the battery power supply is not required (the board is placed at the warehouse), pins 2 and 3 need to be capped.
