Configuring link aggregation in LACP mode on CE switches

140

LACP link aggregation can work in static or dynamic LACP mode. Ensure that both ends use the same working mode. That is, if the local end works in static LACP mode, the peer end must use the static LACP mode. - If the directly-connected two ends support LACP, the static LACP mode is recommended. - The dynamic LACP mode is generally used when the switch is directly connected to a server. In this case, you can also use the static LACP mode. # Add 10GE1/0/1 to 10GE1/0/3 to Eth-Trunk 1, and set the working mode to static LACP.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface eth-trunk 1
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk1] mode lacp-static
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk1] trunkport interface 10ge 1/0/1 to 1/0/3

# Add 10GE1/0/4 to 10GE1/0/6 to Eth-Trunk 2, and set the working mode to dynamic LACP.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface eth-trunk 2
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk2] mode lacp-dynamic
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk2] trunkport interface 10ge 1/0/4 to 1/0/6
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk2] commit
