Whether mirrored traffic is broadcast in a VLAN depends on whether the MAC address table of this VLAN contains entries matching the MAC addresses of the mirrored packets. If the MAC address table of a VLAN contains entries matching the MAC addresses of the mirrored packets, the mirrored packets are forwarded based on the MAC address table. Otherwise, the mirrored packets processed in the same manner as unknown Layer 2 traffic, that is, they are broadcast in the VLAN. If the MAC address table of a VLAN contains entries matching the MAC addresses of the mirrored packets, and if mirrored packets need to be broadcast in the VLAN, run the mac-address learning disable command in the view of this VLAN to disable MAC address learning in the VLAN (This function applies to all S series switches except S1700 switches.)
