<Huawei> save //Save the current configuration file.

2.  Initiate an FTP connection from a maintenance PC to the router.
On the PC, create an FTP connection to the router through the FTP client (for example, the IP address of the router is 10.110.24.254).
C:\Documents and Setting\Administrator> ftp 10.110.24.254
Connected to 10.110.24.254.

How to load the configuration file on the AR router
When incorrect configurations cause abnormal functions, you can use one of the following methods: Method 1: Use FTP, TFTP, or SFTP to restore the configuration file. The device supports configuration file restoration through FTP, TFTP, and SFTP. It is simple to restore the configuration file through FTP or TFTP, but there are security risks. In scenarios demanding high security, configuration file restoration through SFTP is recommended. The following describes how to restore the configuration file that is backed up on a PC through FTP: 1. Start the FTP service when the device works as the FTP server. Enable the FTP server. Create an FTP account with the name of huawei and password of Helloworld@6789, and grant the user's permission on sd1:. 2. On the maintenance terminal, initiate an FTP connection to the device. On the PC, set up an FTP connection with the device through the FTP client. Assume that the device IP address is 10.110.24.254. C:\Documents and Setting\Administrator> ftp 10.110.24.254 Connected to 10.110.24.254. 220 FTP service ready. User (10.110.24.254:(none)): huawei 331 Password required for huawei. Password: 230 User logged in. 3. Configure transmission parameters. If the FTP user passes authentication, the FTP client displays the prompt character of "ftp>". Enter binary (binary transfer mode) following the prompt character. Then specify the path as c:\temp where the uploaded file is to be saved on the FTP client. ftp> binary 200 Type set to I. ftp> lcd c:\temp Local directory now C:\temp. 4. Transfer the configuration file. On the PC, run the put command to upload the configuration file to the device. ftp> put backup.cfg 5. Check whether the backup.cfg file is successfully uploaded. If the backup.cfg file exists on the device and the file size is correct, the configuration file restoration is successful. Note: The backup.cfg file is for reference only. Enter the file name according to the actual situation. 6. Specify the restored configuration file backup.cfg as the configuration file used for next restart. 7. Restart the device. The configuration restoration completes. reboot Info: The system is comparing the configuration, please wait. Warning: All the configuration will be saved to the next startup configuration. Continue? [y/n]: n System will reboot! Continue? [y/n]: y Info: system is rebooting ,please wait... Note: When the system displays the message “All the configuration will be saved to the next startup configuration. Continue?? select “n? Otherwise, configuration recovery fails. Method 2: Restore the configuration file from the storage medium. This step is performed to restore the backup configuration file in the SD card as the running configuration file. When the device is working properly, run the following commands: 1. Restore the backup configuration file in the SD card as the running configuration file. 2.
