How to check member interfaces in a port group

0

You can run the display port-group [ all | port-group-name ] command to check member interfaces in a permanent port group.

The port group function allows you to configure interfaces in a batch. However, the device does not support query or saving of the port group configuration. You can run the display this command in the interface view of a member interface to check the configuration that takes effect on the interface.

# Check member interfaces in all permanent port groups.

display port-group all
Portgroup: 1
GigabitEthernet0/0/1
GigabitEthernet0/0/2
GigabitEthernet0/0/3
Portgroup: 2
GigabitEthernet0/0/4
GigabitEthernet0/0/5
GigabitEthernet0/0/6

How many member interfaces does an aggregation group of the switch support
An aggregation group of the switch supports a maximum of eight member interfaces. NOTE: An aggregation group of the S2700SI supports a maximum of four member interfaces.

How to check the port groups on CE12800 switches when VSs are allocated
Two modes are available for the VSs on CE12800 switches:
- Port mode: Any port on an interface card can be flexibly allocated to any VS.

- Port group mode: All ports on the same forwarding chip of an interface card must be allocated to the same VS. When VSs in port group mode are allocated, you need to know the mappings between the ports and forwarding chips to reasonably plan the use of the ports. You can run the display device port-map [ slot slot-id ] command on a CE12800 to check the mappings between the ports and forwarding chips.

Do member interfaces of a link aggregation group require contiguous interface numbers
For S series switches (except the S1700), the member interface numbers of a link aggregation group are not necessarily contiguous. The configuration command determines whether member interface numbers are contiguous: 1. If you run the trunkport command to configure link aggregation, you must specify contiguous interface numbers. 2. If you run the interface eth-trunk command to create a link aggregation group, and then add member interfaces to the group in the interface view, the member interfaces can have discontiguous numbers.

How to check the interfaces with port isolation enabled
You can run the display port-isolate group { group-id | all } command in any view to check member interfaces in a port isolation group. # Check member interfaces in all port isolation groups. display port-isolate group all The ports in isolate group 3: GigabitEthernet0/0/1 GigabitEthernet0/0/2 NOTE: Uplink and downlink interfaces on the device cannot be added to the same port isolation group. Otherwise, users may not access the network.
