What is CSS card's bandwidth on S series modular switches
CSS cards such as ES02VSTSA (S7700) and LE0D0VSTSA00 (S9300) provide four 16GE optical interfaces for data transmission and line-speed switching, so a CSS card provides 64 Gbit/s bandwidth (4*16 Gbit/s). CSS cards such as EH1D2VS08000 (S9700&S12700) provide eight 16GE optical interfaces for data transmission and line-speed switching, so a CSS card provides 80 Gbit/s bandwidth (8*10 Gbit/s).

CSS cables supported when S series modular switches use service port clustering
For details about supported CSS cables and the maximum of transmission distance when S series modular switches use service port clustering, see the right page. For details about CSS cables on S series fixed switches

Is cluster card or cable of S series switch hot swappable
On an S series modular switch, the ES02VSTSA (S7700), LE0D0VSTSA00 (S9300), and EH1D2VS08000 (S9700) boards are not hot swappable, and the EH1D2VS08000 (S12700) is hot swappable. Cluster cables are hot swappable, but hot swapping of the cluster cables will degrade cluster bandwidth.
