How to restart S series switches

To restart an S series switch (except the S1700), run any of the following commands:
1. reboot //Choose whether to save the current configuration of the device when prompted.
2. reboot fast //The system quickly restarts the device without prompting the user to save the current configuration. Unsaved configuration information will be lost.
3. reboot save diagnostic-information //Before the restart, the system saves the diagnostic information to the root directory of the default storage device.
Note that restarting the device causes service interruption and data loss. Check whether the configuration file is saved as required and exercise caution when performing this operation.

S7700, S9700, and S9300 series modular switches use SPUs to support NAT. NAT includes dynamic NAT, static NAT, and NAT server. Dynamic NAT can be configured to dynamically create mappings between intranet IP addresses and external network IP addresses, so that private network users can access external networks. Static NAT implements fixed one-to-one IP address (one private IP address maps to one public IP address) translation. NAT server can be configured to allow external network users to access an intranet server.
