Configure IPSG on an S1700-FR or S1700-GFR switch as follows:
1. Choose Security > IPSG.
2. Select the interface on which IPSG is configured and click Configure.
3. Set IPSG Status to Enable.
4. Select an IPSG policy bound to the interface from the IPSG Matching
Options drop-down list box.
5. Click Apply.
Note: If IPSG is enabled on an interface where no binding table is configured, the interface blocks all IP data packets.
IPSG cannot be enabled on a DHCP snooping trusted interface. An interface enabled with IPSG cannot be configured as the trusted interface.
If an interface joins an aggregation group, IPSG cannot be enabled on the interface. An interface enabled with IPSG cannot join an aggregation group.
