No log generated when the space for traffic logs is full

0

The hard disk of the device has fixed storage space for each type of logs and reports. You can set thresholds in the Alarm Threshold area in the Configure Disk Alarm Threshold dialog box.
When the storage space of one type of logs and reports is full, the device processes new logs and reports. By default, the hard disk continues receiving new logs and discards the oldest logs. If the log processing mode is manually changed to discard, you can select Overwrite if you want to receive new logs when the configured disk space is full. Alternatively, run the disk log-full overwrite command.

Will logs be generated when loops are detected on S series switch' interfaces where loopback detection is enabled
Logs and alarms will be generated after loops are detected on modular switches' interfaces where loopback detection is enabled. To view the related alarms, run the display trapbuffer command. Only alarms will be generated after loops are detected on interfaces of fixed switches (except S1700). To view the related alarms, run the display trapbuffer command.

Whether the S1700 records IP-based traffic statistics logs
