0

The USG2000, USG5000, and USG6000 support VLANIF address borrowing by an interface.
The following limitations must be followed when an interface borrows an IP address:
1. IP addresses of the Loopback interface and Ethernet interface can be borrowed by another interfaces. However, the Loopback interface and Ethernet interface cannot borrow IP interfaces of other interfaces.
2. The IP address borrowed by an interface cannot be a borrowed interface.
3. An IP address can be borrowed by multiple interfaces.
4. Only the primary IP address of an interface can be borrowed by other interfaces.
