IPsec introduction

IPsec is an open IP security framework protocol defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). IPsec is easy to use and provides transparent security services for IP networks, protecting TCP/IP data against interception or modification. IPsec consists of three primary protocols: Authentication Header (AH), Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP), and Internet Key Exchange (IKE).
