Charging rule of U1980 CDRs

The charging mode and rate are determined by the user-prepared charging system. Only CDRs in binary format are provided. The size of each CDR is 240 bytes.

To configure the CDR server on U1980, perform the following steps: 1. 1. Run the config createbill switch command to enable the CDR generation function on the U1980. 2. Run the config system billserver primaryip x.x.x.x (the IP address of the CDR server) command on the U1980 to configure the IP address of the CDR server. Select a CDR module on the CDRserver and then click Display. In the displayed dialog box, choose Control > Trusted Unified Gateway Address and then enter the U1980 IP address. 3. Run the save command to save the configuration data.

1. Run the show billpool state command to check whether the CDR pool is full. 2. Run the show billserver state command to check whether the CDR server is in Fault state. 3. Run the config createbill switch off command to disable the CDR generation function. 4. In Debug mode, run the debug debug_pid bill_server cmd 45 p1 <0-4294967295> p2 <0-4294967295> command to delete CDRs. The p1 parameter indicates the start ID of CDRs to be deleted and p2 indicates the quantity of CDRs to be deleted. Example: debug debug_pid os_pid_bill_server cmd 45 p1 0 p2 479999

1. Run the show billserver state command to check whether the CDR server is correctly configured. If the configuration is incorrect, run the Config system billserver command to change the CDR server's IP address to the actual IP address. 2. Check whether the network connection is normal. If not, rectify the network fault. 3. Ensure that the CDR server is enabled. If this function is disabled, you need to enable the CDR server. 4. Check whether the accumulated CDR files under the Server Bill\CurFile directory of the CDR server are excessive. If yes, periodically archive these files or use the BMU to obtain CDR files, or set the CDR server to periodically delete CDR files. 5. Ensure that the transmission protocols on both ends are consistent, that is, both are TCP or TLS protocols.
