The U1900 series unified gateway supports separation of voice streams from data streams for SS7 signaling.

E1/T1 trunk capacity for the U1980:
PRA trunk capacity: 900 for E1and 460 for T1
Q.SIG trunk capacity: 900 for E1 and 460 for T1
SS7 trunk capacity: 900 for E1
R2 trunk capacity: 680 for E1
You can run the config modify trunkgroup command on the U1980 to modify the trunk rights.
For example, to modify the outgoing call rights of trunk 1 to local, run the config modify trunkgroup no 1 outgoingright local command.
In the preceding command, the trunk number "1", rights name "outgoingright", and rights type "local" can be modified based on site requirements. For details, see the U1900 command reference.
