Can E1 transfer cables on one U1900 model apply to other U1900 models?

70

On U1900 devices, not all E1 interfaces support the same E1 transfer cables. The differences are as follows:
1. The digital trunk interfaces of the U1910 and U1930 are integrated into the CVP board and support the DB26 connector. The U1910 provides one E1/T1 interface and the U1930 provides two E1/T1 interfaces.
2. The media resource boards of the U1911, U1960, and U1981 are all MTU boards whose interfaces support the DB9 connector. One MTU board provides two E1/T1 interfaces and each interface supports two trunks.
Note: On the old MTU board (there are only two LOS indicators and two RFA indicators on the panel), the trunk port numbers provided by the E1/T1-0 interface are 0 and 2, and the trunk port numbers provided by the E1/T1-1 interface are 1 and 3.
3. The U1980 has two types of digital trunk interface boards, DTU-4 and DTU-8. On the DTU-4 board, the interface supports the DB50 connector and 4 E1/T1 interfaces are provided. On the DTU-8 board, the interface supports the DB50 connector and 8 E1 interfaces are provided.

In conclusion, the E1 lines of one device can apply to other devices only when all corresponding interfaces support the same connector.

Can one E1 port of the U1900 be configured with different office routes?
Yes. If you want to configure different timeslots to be bound to different office routes, run the corresponding command to modify the office route of a timeslot. The command varies depending on the U1900 model. 1. U1911/U1960/U1981: config modify board slot slot type tkcinboard tkcinboard officeno officeno 2. U1980: config modify board slot slot type tkcinboard tkcinboard officeno officeno 3. U1910/U1930: config modify cvp type dtu tkcincard tkcincard officeno officeno
How many concurrent calls are supported by one E1 cable of the U1900?
One E1 cable of the U1900 supports a maximum of 30 concurrent calls.
How to connect the U1900 E1 trunk cables?
Each E1 link consists of two E1 lines, one for receiving and the other for transmitting data. Connect the Tx and Rx ends of the E1 cable respectively to the Rx and Tx ends of the peer E1 cable.
Can U1900 series interwork with each other?
Yes. The U1900 series can interwork with each other using the SIP, SS7, PRA, QSIG, or R2 protocol. For details, see the U1900 product documentation.
What are the functions of various U1900 E1 cables?
There are two types of U1900 E1 cables: RX and TX. The RX cable receives signals and the TX cable transmit signals.
