How to modify the user level for multiple numbers in batches on the U1900 series unified gateway

1. You can modify the codecs of the U1900, but their priorities cannot be set using the CLI. The codec to use during a call is determined through negotiation. 2. You can run the config system codetype G711A&G711U&G729&G723&iLBC_1520&iLBC_1333 command in config mode to set the voice codecs.

To configure a PSTN number for a user on the U1900, perform the following steps: 1. Log in to the web management system of the U1900. 2. Choose User > SIP User(POTS User) and then choose Operation > Start Long Number next to the user to configure the PSTN number.

The maximum number of users supported varies depending on the U1900 series unified gateway model: eSpace U1910: 100 eSpace U1911: 100 eSpace U1930: 300 eSpace U1960: 1000 eSpace U1980: 10000 eSpace U1981: 20000 (Note that in V100R001, the maximum number of users supported is 10000; from V200R003, the maximum number of users supported is 20000.)

The U1900 series unified gateway provides four user rights levels: Default, Normal, Advanced, and Super. - Default: Users at this level have the rights to use the local number query, call transfer, call forwarding, call waiting, abbreviated dialing, outgoing call barring, alarm clock, CLIP, password change, conference call, unified fax mailbox, call park, phone permission, one number link you, DND, and absent user services. - Normal: In addition to default user rights, users at this level have the rights to use the instant conference, RCB (not supported by the U1980), callback on busy, and designated pickup services. - Advanced: In addition to normal user rights, users at this level have the rights to use the three-way calling, multi-line call, ringing, barge, and forced release services. - Super: In addition to advanced user rights, users at this right level have the rights to use the privileged user, ringing, secretary, and secretary station services.
