How to restore U1900 data after the replacement of the main control board ？

The OptiX OSN 1800 device does not support data downloading. Services can be recovered only by restoring database.

A new license needs to be applied for after the ViewPoint 8650 main control board is replaced. The ViewPoint 8650 MCU license is bound to the main control board. If the main control board is replaced, you need to apply for a new license and change the license ESN. The procedure is as follows: Log in to the new main control board, run the dis manufacture-info command, and obtain the new ESN. Send the ESN and contract number to license@huawei.com to apply for a new license.

The license of the ViewPoint 8650 is bound with its main control board. If the main control board is replaced, you need to apply for a new license using the ESN of the new main control board. To apply for a new license, log in to the new main control board, run the dis manufacture-info command to obtain its ESN and send the ESN to license@huawei.comfor making a new license.

When the U1900 is equipped with two main control boards, run the switch board command in config mode to perform the manual switchover. The U1910, U1911, U1930, and U1960 do not support this command.

After replacing the main control board of the U1900 voice gateway, you do not need to change the ESN of the license. The ESN used to apply for the U1900 license is bound to the subrack. The ESN is changed only when the subrack is replaced.
