How to configure the conference access code on the U1900?

Before joining a conference, obtain the conference access code and password from the site that initiates the conference. For details, see 6.3 Joining a Conference.

If a user does not specify a conference access code, the Lync Client, ViewPoint 9000-series endpoint, TE series endpoint, and TP can call the unified access code and join a multi-point conference as promoted by the IVR. The unified access code is a string consisting of less than 13 digits. The default access code is 9000. The access code cannot be the first N characters of the conference access code. On the SMC2.0 page, the SMC2.0 administrator chooses System > Settings > Conference > Conference ID > Unified access number.

Access codes in the Adhoc conference template do not occupy the SC registration quantity. After the Adhoc conference template is created, the access codes are stored on the SC side as special numbers, that is, calls to the access codes are transferred to the SMC by default. Successfully held conference numbers cannot occupy the number of SC registration nodes. The conference numbers are mounted to the MCU registration nodes by default. The conference numbers are associated with MCU registration nodes, but are not registered with the SC as independent nodes.

The U1900 does not support this function. Users can only join a scheduled conference by dialing the conference access code.

To create an instant conference, please press 2." 3. Enter the conference ID when hearing the announcement "Please input the conference ID followed by the pound key." 4. Enter the conference password when hearing the announcement "Please input the conference password followed by the pound key." 5. Speak your name and press the pound key to join the conference when hearing the announcement "After you hear the beep, speak your name and press the pound key."
