The eSpace 8950 does not support the initiation of a local video conference. The related server such as the eSpace eSpace Meeting Server or MCU server, is required for supporting the video conferencing function.
When a conference server (Meeting Server or MCU) is configured, you can set up a video conference by performing the following operations:
1. Dial the conference access code.
2. Press 1 after hearing the announcement "Welcome to the conference system. To join a conference, please press 1. To create an instant conference, please press 2."
3. Enter the conference ID when hearing the announcement "Please input the conference ID followed by the pound key."
4. Enter the password when hearing the announcement "Please input the password followed by the pound key."
5. The system verification succeeds. When hearing the announcement "After you hear the beep, speak out your name and press the pound key", speak out your name and press the pound key (#) to join the conference.
The eSpace 8950 and 7900 series IP phones can be upgraded one by one or in batches.
Upgrading a single phone:
1. Log in to the phone's web page as the administrator and choose Advanced > Upgrade > Manual Upgrade.
2. Click Browse to select an upgrade package.
3. Select local version files to be upgraded, and click Upgrade.

Querying the MAC address of an eSpace 7900 IP phone
On the LCD screen, choose Application > Status > Network status. The value of Ethernet MAC displayed at the bottom of the Network status screen is the MAC address of the 7900 IP phone.
Querying the MAC address of an eSpace 8950 IP phone
1. On the LCD screen, tap four block icons. On the Application tab page, tap Setting.
2. On the displayed screen, tap About IP Phone and then Status
On the displayed screen, you can view the peripheral status, network status, and MAC address of the phone.
