How to configure the NTP synchronization service for eSpace 8950 and 7900 series IP phones?

Log in to the web page of the IP phone and choose Advanced > Network > VLAN to configure the VLAN. Note: The eSpace 8850 IP phone does not support the VLAN function.

1. On U1900, start the SNTP service. [%eSpace U1930(config)]#start sntpserver The SNTP server has already been started. 2. Log in to the phone web page as an administrator. Choose System > Date and Time, and set the U1900 IP address as the time server address. Set the update interval to an appropriate value based on site requirements. If many devices need to synchronize time with U1900, do not set the update interval to a small value. Frequent time synchronization increases the server load.

The IP phone and PC can be in different VLANs, but in the scenario where the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) is used, the IP phone and PC cannot be allocated in different VLANs.

The eSpace 7950 and 8950 support the external speaker, but the eSpace 7910 does not support it.

The eSpace 8950 and 7900 series IP phones can be upgraded one by one or in batches. Upgrading a single phone: 1. Log in to the phone's web page as the administrator and choose Advanced > Upgrade > Manual Upgrade. 2. Click Browse to select an upgrade package. 3. Select local version files to be upgraded, and click Upgrade.
